Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is the process of helping a physically, psychiatrically disabled and substance addicted patients to make the best use of his/ her residual abilities in order to function at an optimum level in as normal a social context as possible. Recent advances in diagnosis and therapeutics have resulted in better survival and coping among patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Our goal is to establish a collaborative partnership with families who suffer from mental, addiction and neurological disorders, Providing them with the kind of information and skills most needed. We aim to impart information, increase the sense of social support and reverse the negative interaction.

Through Social skill training and Vocational training preparing the patient for psychological preparedness and skills required to acquire employment is an important area in rehabilitation.

Once detailed assessment carried out by our professionals interventions and treatment are planned and implemented at individual and family level. Social skill training(Goal setting, behavioural rehearsal, positive reinforcement, shaping) and independent living skills, Family intervention and vocational training.

Facilities

We engage them during the day by making daily time table which includes, morning prayers. exercises, yoga, meditation, counseling, occupational activities like paper cover making, gardening, broomstick making, outdoor games, indoor games, evening walk, evening prayers, news paper reading, recreations, watching TV, spiritual guidance, AA group interactions, manual works.
